Description
This rare old/antique Black Americana figurine was made for advertising FIRESTONE Tire & Rubber Company, circa 1920's - 1930's; used as a tire store display. The piece is made of hand-painted chalk ware, the black man figure is extracting sap from a rubber tree. He measures approximately 5 3/4" high x 3" at the bottom. It is marked FIRESTONE on the front of the base in red and LIBERIA W.A. on the backside of the base. Although vintage, it is in good condition for it's age.
Condition
Small area of paint loss possibly some small touch up areas but no cracks or repairs to the piece.
