Offered here for your consideration is a turquoise, coral, and claw squash blossom necklace (likely Morenci turquoise). This circa 1970s to1980s necklace features a lovely naja highlighted with one turquoise nugget style and one coral cabochon resting in smooth silver bezels, and two lovely claws with nice silver caps, all resting on a darkened silver background. The settings are accented with stamped leaf appliques, coiled wire, and silver dots. The turquoise in this necklace is likely Morenci, and the deep blue turquoise produced by the Morenci mine is highly sought after and a valued color. The Morenci mine is located in Southeastern Arizona, and is no longer producing. The neckline is filled with eight tab style blossoms of similar design with one turquoise nugget cabochon and one smaller claw, and accented with silverwork matching the naja. Two strands of sterling silver beads conjoined into a single strand are strung on coated wire and silver findings finish off this necklace nicely.
