Description

This is a large, charming 26" Antique Bisque head/Composition body doll, made in Germany.
It is very hard to find a doll made by this German doll company.
The doll is made by HEINRICH HANDWERCK/SIMON & HALBIG .
Back of the neck is marked, "Germany - HEINRICH HANDWERCK - SIMON & HALBIG".
She has a gorgeous open mouth with two teeth showing and delicately brushed upper and lower eyelashes.
She has large, blue brown open and close eyes.
The doll has a composition body, arms and legs, and bisque head.
There are no visible cracks or damage on the bisque head.
The composition body is in good condition with some discoloration and small scratches.
The wig needs some adjusting/cleaning/styling.
She wears a white dress with lace and white underwear long dress.
I would consider that her clothes are vintage rather than antique.
There could be some small rips and stains, consistent with the age of the old antique and vintage clothes
The doll is in overall good antique condition.
Simply gorgeous!
It will be a great gift to someone special or beautiful addition to any antique dolls collection!
