A Cartier "Santos de Cartier" stainless steel and 18k gold wristwatch, ref. 2961, personally owned by Ringo Starr who later gifted it to an associate as a Christmas gift in 1985.

The wristwatch, of automatic movement, the square white dial with black Roman numerals, blued steel hands, window for date at 3 o'clock, secret Cartier signature at 7 o'clock, within a stainless steel case, decorated by an 18k gold applied bezel with rivet detailing, joined to the stainless steel bracelet with 18k gold rivet detail and hidden deployant clasp, case measuring 29 mm, 7 inches bracelet. Dial double signed Cartier, deployant signed Cartier, caseback signed Santos de Cartier, nos. 296192935, and engraved, "1985 MIKE HAPPY JINGLES LOVE R&B," the initials of Starr and his wife, Barbara Bach.
