A tie-dye ensemble, dyed by The Lovin' Spoonful founder, John Sebastian, and his wife Catherine Sebastian.

The long-sleeved cotton top (dyed by Catherine) features a purple, orange, and yellow tie-dye pattern, with a three-button down neckline, labeled "100% cotton Made in England," with fraying from age and use The Levi's white tab flare pants (dyed by John) feature a yellow and orange striped tie-dye pattern and Levi's brand tab and button, with much of the original color of the white jeans present, no size.

The ensemble was dyed, c. late 1960s- early 1970s, at the 46-acre artistic community near Studio City called "The Farm." At The Farm, Sebastian was nicknamed "guitar fingers" due to his tight grip on his fabric (strength gained from playing the guitar) during the tie-dye process.

According to Sebastian, the pants were heavily worn on stage by him, c. early 1970s.
