A 2008 Epiphone Slash Les Paul solid body electric guitar, serial #EE080300482, Goldtop finish with dark back. Owned and played by Randy Bachman, who has sold 40 million records worldwide as a member of The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and as a solo artist.

A limited edition model from 2008, this Epiphone Slash Les Paul Goldtop can be seen in Randy’s hands during the Bachman & Turner Live at the Roseland Ballroom performance, notably during “Roll on Down the Highway” and the finale, “Takin’ Care of Business”.

The Slash Goldtop Les Paul features a Slash-engraved truss rod cover, two Duncan Alnico II humbuckers, a dark-back mahogany body with a gold finished maple top, a mahogany neck with a 22-fret 24 3/4” scale length rosewood fretboard, vintage style tuners, individual volume controls for each pickup as well as a three-way selector switch, and an Epiphone Lock Tone bridge. Previously Randy has fitted the guitar with a Bigsby B5 vibrato, however this has been reversed and a stopbar tailpiece is now installed.

The guitar is signed by Slash on the back of the headstock “Slash 2013” and on the top in the right forearm position, with an added Marshall Amplification sticker behind the vibrato.
