Meiji period (1868-1912), includes two pairs of jars, each hand-painted in Imari palette, the covered pair having alternating vignettes with vert details and dragon motifs; the uncovered pair having alternating vignettes with one hundred boys decoration on a red ground, and a red painted character mark to the underside; they each come together with custom wooden stands.
