Two patinated bronze animaler studies, after Charles Marion Russell, second half 20th century, the first figure of a wolf: The Last Laugh, indistinctly inscribed 'C.M. Russell' with triangle and '1716 (r), raised on green marble plinth, 5"h x 9"l; the second figure of a steer, indistinctly inscribed 'CMR', 5.75"h x 7"l. Provenance: Property from the estate of Mr. Robert Darwin, television and film personality, author, and noted philanthropist. Proceeds from the estate are to be sold to cover student tuition at California State University, Monterey Bay
