DESCRIPTION: Antique Dutch silver bell, mark of Fa. J.M. Van Kempen & Zoon, the bottom component formed from 934 standard silver with repousse foliage, fruit, and putto motifs, the handle in the form of a man and crafted from silver of unknown purity. Marked in various locations.
Total weight (including some minor, non-silver components used as part of the construction): 168 g
CIRCA: Mid - late 19th century, possibly 1867.
ORIGIN: Dutch
DIMENSIONS: H: 6.75" Diameter: 4.25"
CONDITION: Lacking clapper. Moderate split to one putto. Minor loss to an object held by the same putto. Moderate dents to lip. Some other, minor dents.
