Description

1816, a pair of American fan shaped fire screens, with painted theorems. Housed in a shadow box frame displaying a family notecard with the following inscription: "Pair of Fire Screens/ Painted by Charlotte Townsend/ in 1816, while a pupil in/ Miss Hull's School, Troy N.Y./ Great Grandmother of Miss Esther Gibbs Powers". 23" x 24" (framed).

Condition

Only slight toning to some fans.
