Don and Donna Johnson (MN), Three Green-Winged Teal in Flight
Minneapolis, Minnesota, late 20th century, carved and painted wood, incised feather details, glass eyes, mounted on resin and wood base with brass medallion marked DON AND DONNA JOHNSON with flying mallard motif on bottom.
Overall height 19.25 in.
The duo began with a simple interest in carving and painting with a mallard that led them down the path of future wildlife art shows and awards. Don was the President of the National Wood Carvers Association in Minneapolis, MN.
