Description

Four American Folk Art Paint Decorated Picture Frames, 19th Century. Comprising a pair of red-painted fruitwood frames; a faux grained tulip poplar frame; and a brown painted frame. (4)

Dimensions: Dimensions of smallest 17 1/4 x 13 1/4in; interior 14 x 10in; Dimensions of largest 19 x 15in; interior 16 1/4 x 12 1/4in; Dimensions of pair 16 1/2 x 14 1/2in; interior 14 x 12in.

Provenance: Property from the Collection of C. Thomas Attix Jr., East Windsor, New Jersey.
 

Condition

Each with general marks, wear, nicks, abrasions, surface scratches and losses to surface. The paint decoration to brown frame appears to be later. One frame with glass.
